This module covers the following topics:

1. Definition and Recognition of Anaphylaxis
- Understanding what anaphylaxis is.
- Recognizing the signs and symptoms.

2. Common Triggers and Allergens
- Food allergies, insect stings, medication reactions, and latex allergies.

3. Pathophysiology
- Understanding the physiological changes during an anaphylactic reaction.

4. Risk Assessment and Prevention
- Identifying triggers and implementing preventive measures.

5. Emergency Management
- The ABCDE approach (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure).
- Administration of adrenaline auto-injectors.
- Calling for emergency medical assistance.

6. Recognition and Management of Mild to Moderate Allergic Reactions
- Identifying less severe allergic reactions.
- Preventing progression to full anaphylaxis.

7. Communication and Documentation
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Accurate documentation of anaphylactic events.

8. Post-Anaphylaxis Care
- Providing appropriate follow-up care and specialist referrals.
- Educating patients on avoidance strategies and emergency medication.
